“You are a member of God’s very own family…and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian.” Ephesians 2:19 (LB)
None of us are meant to travel the path of life alone. “Alone” isn’t a good way to live life—and it’s far from the abundant life Jesus wants us to experience. Everything in life is better when shared; celebration is richer; sorrow is more bearable; challenges are put in perspective; decisions are wiser. Whatever season of life you’re in, there are people at Sojourners Community Church who want to know you, “do life” with you, and share the journey with you. We are the church . . . in our relationships, schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, etc. And we also gather together in organic groups to be the church with each other in ways that we can’t on Sundays. This is where we can support each other, listen to each other, pray for each other, and serve with each other. We often feel too busy to be part of a community like this during the week. But could it be that we’re too busy because we don’t have community like we need?
It is our hope and prayer that you find a group you can call “home”, where lasting and deep friendships are developed, and where Christ is experienced in the midst of your time. Please check out our listing of Life! Groups and select one that suits your lifestage and schedule. All groups are open and happy to welcome visitors! For info on Group Life contact Jason Phillips
