We take the formation of our children very seriously. We don’t consider them an inconvenience to what we want to do as adults on Sundays. Children are a gift and a responsibility. We have childcare for those children who can’t walk. Once the children reach pre-school age we have teachers and a curriculum that we go through. Kindergarten through 6th grade spend the first half of worship with us. We worship together in song; spend time meditating on scripture; and participate in communion. After communion, they head off to their class where they have a lesson that is parallel to the adults on Sundays. We want our families being shaped by Scripture together. This allows for conversations, prayers, and practices to be done together.
When you arrive on Sunday you can sign your child into his or hers appropriate class. You and your child will receive an id bracelet matching the two of you so that you can feel secure leaving them.
